Jeremy Kurtis Harris (Liester), age 26, left this world on Wednesday, September 16, 2009. He was a carpenter for Sterling Construction.

Jeremy was born June 27, 1983 at the Wellington Hospital in Wellington, KS.

Jeremy will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. His life was his family, fishing and hunting.

Jeremy is preceded in death by one brother, Jason Kelly Liester; Grandmother, Carol Harris; Grandfather, Harold Rowe; and Grandfather Clyde Liester.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Diane and Carl Harris of Wellington, KS; one sister, Lindsey Daugherty and her husband Pat, one niece, Blair Daugherty; two nephews, Parker and Chantz Daugherty all of Wellington, KS; Grandfather, Richard Harris of Wellington, KS; Grandmother, Iola Liester of Hoxie, KS; Grandparents, Glenard & Donna Harris of Mulvane, KS and Great Grandmother, Vena Harris of Mulvane, KS.

Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS. Pastor Don Bryant will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 20, 2009. The family will greet friends from 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with the National Archery School Program. Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.
