Jerry E. Tooman, age 61, passed away Monday evening, March 23, 2015 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington, KS. He was a driver for Futures Unlimited, Inc. for many years.

Jerry E. Tooman was born on May 5, 1953 in Ponca City, OK to Jerry E. Tooman, Sr. and Sharlene A. (Abel) Tooman.

He married Leota R. (Bush) Holdaway on September 9, 1988 in Wellington, KS. Together they celebrated 26 years of marriage.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and was passionate about riding motorcycles. He loved riding to Sturgis with Leota, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife, Leota of Wellington, KS; son, Jacob Tooman and his wife Carrie; his daughter, Brandi Deaton and her husband Jack all of Wellington, KS; two stepsons, Shane Holdaway and his wife Angela and Michael Holdaway and his wife Karmen all of Wellington, KS; two sisters, Janice Falls and her husband Fred of Wellington, KS and Rebecca Ferrara and her husband Paul of Redondo Beach, CA; 12 grandchildren, Derek and Tyler Pettegrew, Kai and Story Deaton, Nicole and Mathew Holdaway, Brittney, Andrew and Nathan Bentz, Sierra, Garret and Leota Holdaway; and half sister, Vicki Guiltner.

In honoring Jerry's wishes Private Family Services will be held.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
