Jill Diane Peck, age 28, passed away early Friday morning, November 5, 2010, at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, and a dedicated school teacher.

Jill D. (Butterworth) Peck was born on December 15, 1981 in Wellington, KS to Jerry D. Butterworth and Judith E. (Jones) Leitch. She was a graduate of Wellington High School with the Class of 2000 and also a graduate of Wichita State University in 2005.

Jill married Stuart Peck on July 8, 2009 in Wichita, KS.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Jones and Ted Butterworth; and uncles, Mike and Bobby Jones.

Survivors include her husband, Stuart Peck of Rose Hill, KS; son, Kylen Smith and step-sons, Austin and Benjamin Peck of the home; half-brother, Jeremy Butterworth of Virginia; mother, Judy Leitch and her husband Guy of Wellington, KS; father, Jerry Butterworth of Wellington, KS; grandmothers, Betty Jones of Andover, KS and Dona Butterworth of Wellington, KS; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Christian Church. Interment will follow the service at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 8, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with the Kylen Smith Education Fund. Memorials can be left at the funeral home.
