JoAnne Dillard, age 80, passed away Sunday morning, October 4, 2015 at her home in Wellington. She was a driver for Rail Crew Express before she retired and had been a resident of Wellington most of her life.
JoAnne (Greeno) Dillard was born on August 3, 1935 in Wellington, KS to Harry J. Greeno and Pearl P. (Beatty) Greeno.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bob and Everett Greeno; two stepsons, James Daniel Dillard and Daniel Bradley Dillard; granddaughter, LaDonna Dillard and great grandson, Donzell French.
Survivors include her son, Larry D. Everheart of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, MaLinda K. French of Wellington, KS and Pearl F. Maharin of Tom, OK; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was a foster mother to 43 boys and girls through the years.
Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. Pastor Don Bryant will officiate.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
A memorial has been established with the First Christian Church. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
