Obituary
John P. Nickel, age 90, of Wellington, KS, passed away early Friday morning, July 1, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Wellington, KS. He was a retired aircraft machinist.
John Peter Nickel was born on December 4, 1925 in Fairview, OK to Peter P. Nickel and Mary H. (Loewen) Nickel. He served in the United States Marines Corps during WWII from 1944-1948.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother and four sisters.
Survivors include his son Mark Nickel; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in South Haven, KS, on Monday, July11, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. Chaplain Dan Floyd will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
