Judith Merlene Meslin, age 72, passed away Sunday evening, January 19, 2014 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS.
Judy was born on December 1, 1941 in Santa Monica, CA to Merle E. Wilkerson and Alta M. (Ritterhouse) Wilkerson.
Judy married Jerry Lee Meslin on June 11, 1967 at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Wichita, KS.
She was preceded in death by her father; one daughter, Jennifer Meslin; and one brother, Norman Wilkerson.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Meslin of Wellington; son, Jason Meslin and his wife Rebecca of Naperville, IL; daughter, Julee Meslin of Wellington; mother, Alta Wilkerson of Wellington; six grandchildren, Caitlin, Jason, Eden, and Rowan Williams, and Jonah and Elijah Meslin.
Funeral Services will be held at Wellington Baptist Temple on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. Pastor John Clayton will officiate. Interment will follow the service at the Osborne Cemetery in Mayfield, KS.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Judy's name with Wellington Baptist Temple. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
