Kay "Katie" Frances Yearout, age 80, of Harrah, OK, passed away August 26, 2019. She was a retired school teacher, Indian Art Gallery Manager and an Assistant to an Oklahoma State Representative.

Katie was born on June 27, 1939 in Yakima, WA to Edmond J. Sauve and June (Wood) Sauve.

She married James C. (Jim) Yearout on December 14, 1974 in Dillon, S.C. They celebrated 44 years of marriage.

Katie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, was an amateur artist and an animal lover. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Harrah, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Faith C. Urfer.

Survivors include her husband, Jim; son, Justin S. Wohlschlegel and his wife Valerie; daughter, Shaila Maria Yearout; sisters, Diane Bixler, Arleyne Glasser, Gloria Howerton and Joanne Holt Bracken; stepbrother, Johnnie Holt; grandchildren, Zak and Grace Wohlschlegel; Tressa Rae and William Moore; and great granddaughter, Evegelene Whittley.
