Kennie C. Nowling, age 64, passed away Friday morning, June 15, 2007 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. He was an Assistant Plant Manager and Engineer at Oxwell Inc., having worked there for the last 20 years.

Kennie C. Nowling was born on January 5, 1943 in Council Bluffs, IA to Kenneth Dale Nowling and Ruth M. (Tatta) Nowling.

Survivors include his two children, Kennie C. Nowling, Jr. of Overland Park, KS and Phoebe S. Nowling of De Soto, KS; his mother, Ruth M. Dannenberg of Bellevue, NE; one brother, Jim Nowling of Wellington, KS; and one sister, Liz Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the First Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Zane Brooks officiating.

A memorial has been established with the Wellington Humane Society in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left or mailed to Frank Funeral Home.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may stop by the funeral home to sign the register book on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 and Thursday, June 21, 2007 from 9:00 – 5:00 P.M.
