Kirby K. DeBuhr, age 62, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at his home in Wellington, KS.

Kirby was born on September 19, 1957 in Wellington, Kansas to Karlin and Margaret "Peggy" (Kern) DeBuhr. He went to Wellington High School and graduated with the Class of 1976. After graduation he attended WSU where he received certifications in Aviation Manufacturing Technology. Kirby worked for Spirit AeroSystems and later he worked for Vought Aviation in Texas until he retired.

He loved to help his brother Kenton farm and enjoyed shooting guns with Kenton and his nephews. He also enjoyed camping, fishing at Wellington Lake and loved riding his motorcycle with Kenton whenever they had the chance.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy; and two nephews, Bo DeBuhr and Donzell Amarieon French.

Survivors include his brother, Kenton and his wife Tina DeBuhr and children Sarah, Ryan, Joseph and Lily; family members Bianca and son Juan of Texas; his father, Karlin DeBuhr; brother Karylss DeBuhr and son KC; as well as numerous nephews and nieces, Kenneth and Kaley DeBuhr and son Chandler; Mario and Kristy (DeBuhr) French and sons Austin, Tynell and Kymari; Tim and Brandy (DeBuhr) Luck and children Vanessa, Kristopher and Sydney.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grace Calvary Fellowship in Wellington, KS. Pastor Joe Crowley will officiate.
