Retired Attorney, Lewis E. Nugen, 87, died May 28, 2007 at his home. Services will be held at First Christian Church, 123 W. 9th , Wellington, KS at 2:30 P.M., Friday, June 1, 2007 with Pastor Sallie Shore. Interment follows at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Preceding him in death were his brothers Harold (Geuda Springs), Howard (Arkansas City), Wayne (Arkansas City), Charles (Fort Worth, TX) and his son, Leon (Hazelwood, MO).

Survivors include wife Wilma Jean Nugen of the home; sister, Hazel Chapman of Wichita; Son-in-law and daughter, Charley and Linda McCue of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Chelsea McCue, grandson, John McCue and wife, Rebecca with great-granddaughter, Mira; daughter-in-law, Patty Nugen, grandson, Raymond Nugen; grandson Tony Nugen and wife, Kim, with great-grandsons, Ethan and Joey; sister-in-law, Betty Nugen of Fort Worth; four nieces and their extended families and six nephews with their extended families.
