Lois Marie (Wolffrum) Frank, 88, passed away June 1, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, Kansas.

Lois was born May 15, 1936 in Blackwell, Kay Co., Oklahoma to parents George Henry and Katherine Louise (Webster) Wolffrum. She was raised on a farm just north of Ashton, Kansas with her younger sister, Lexy Leigh (Wolffrum) Spencer. Lois graduated as valedictorian of her class of 1954 in South Haven, Kansas. She went on to pursue a nursing career as a registered nurse. She met and married Robert (Bob) Frank on June 06, 1954. They were married in South Haven, Kansas. They moved to Wellington, Kansas In 1961 where Lois worked as an R.N. at the Wellington Hospital until its closing on March 13, 2020. She finished out her career at St. Lukes hospital in Wellington until her retirement.

Lois loved working with her flowers, roses, peonies, and irises. People would come from miles around just to look at her flowers and she would always give them a starter clipping if they wanted one.

Lois is survived by daughter, Carolyn Frank of Kentucky; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Misa Frank of St. Louis, Missouri; two beautiful grandchildren, Kennedy Frank and Christian Frank; and nephew, Gregory Spencer of Winfield, Kansas.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, George and Katherine Wolffrum of Arkansas City, Kansas; her husband, Bob Frank of Wellington, Kansas; her sister and brother-in-law, Lexy and Bill Spencer of Winfield, Kansas; and a niece, Debora Sue Peak of Winfield, Kansas.

A Graveside Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, 24547 61st Road, Arkansas City, Kansas 67005.
