Lulabel Arlene Wolf, age 89, passed away on June 3, 2009 at The Dalles, Oregon. She was a former rural South Haven, KS resident before moving to The Dalles, Oregon in 2001 to be near her son, Wally and his family.

Lulabel Arlene (Gann) Wolf was born on November 10, 1919 in Hominy, OK to James Grover Gann and Bertha Mae (Rowden) Gann.

She married Wallace W. "Bud" Wolf on August 4, 1940 in Winfield, KS. They had been married 60 years before he preceded her in death on November 2, 2000.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, living on the family farm, and country western dancing with her husband, Bud.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Bud; four brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include her two children, Wally Wolf and his wife Vicki of The Dalles, OR and Nancy Carter and her husband Gene of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in rural Geuda Springs, KS. Pastor Russell McAlister will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery in rural Ashton, KS.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 7, 2009 from 1:00 – 7:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. The casket will remain closed.

A memorial has been established with the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
