M. "Caroline" Calvert-Cox, age 86, of Wellington, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Wellington Health & Rehab. Caroline was the former owner of Passtime Bar for over 20 years.

Mary Caroline (Wright) Calvert-Cox was born on July 4, 1934 in Wellington, KS to Albert L. Wright and Lois M. (Ward) Wright.  She was raised in Wellington.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Thomas Calvert; two brothers, Stanley Wright and Jerry Wright; and one sister, Betty Jo Erber.

Survivors include her husband Darrel Cox of Wellington, KS; three sons, William Gene Calvert of Mars, PA, Albert Marc Calvert of Wichita, KS, and Daniel Ward Calvert of Haysville, KS; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

In honoring Caroline's wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

A memorial has been established with the Wellington Humane Society.  Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.

Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
