Obituary
M. Willadene Crites, age 85, passed away November 13, 2009 in Amarillo, TX. She worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 35 years. Most of those years were spent working in the office of J. C. Hill, D.O. in Wellington, KS.
M. Willadene (Haines) Crites was born on June 15, 1924 in Grenola, KS to Everett Haines and Winnie (Wigan) Haines.
She married Paul O. Crites on January 5, 1944 in Paris, TX. He preceded her in death in 1987. She moved to Amarillo 15 years ago to be closer to her daughter Linda.
Willadene is survived by one daughter, Linda Johnson and her husband Larry of Amarillo, TX; one sister Clara Bell Irey and her husband Bob of Howard, CO; two grandchildren, Tommy Johnson and his wife Kathy of Boise City, IA and Angela Johnson of Amarillo, TX; four great-grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Tiffany Brown, Richard Lowery, and Andrew Johnson.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Dan Floyd will officiate.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 16, 2009 from 2:00 – 9:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M.
A memorial has been established with B.S.A. Hospice in Amarillo, TX. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
