Mable Louise Pyeatt, age 79, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Wellington, KS. She was a retired Registered Nurse and through the years had worked at Hatcher Hospital and Wellington Hospital.
Mable Louise (Riley) Pyeatt was born on October 9, 1931 in Renfrow, OK to Elmer E. Riley and Lillian Madge (Arnold) Riley.
Mable married Bill R. Pyeatt on July 3, 1953 in Newkirk, OK. He passed away on December 19, 1997.
Mable is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; two brothers; two sisters; and one granddaughter.
Survivors include one son, Michael Pyeatt of South Haven; two daughters, Marsha Dugan and Lynda Tompkins both of Wellington; two brothers, Roy Riley of Walla Walla, WA and Terry Riley of South Haven; two sisters, Iris Beshirs of Haysville and Carol Kolb of Waco, TX; nine grandchildren, Maria Moyer, Angela Arrieta, Mitchell Dugan, Shannon Patterson, Seth Dugan, Rachel Russell, Stacy Pyeatt, Matt Tompkins, and Heath Tompkins; 13 great grandchildren.
Memorial Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rose Hill Cemetery in South Haven. Pastor Russell McAlister of the South Haven Methodist Church will officiate.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
A Memorial has been established with the South Haven Methodist Church in lieu of flowers. Memorials can be left at the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
