Madelyn "Pat" Holdaway passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Wellington Health and Rehab in Wellington, KS. She was born on July 6, 1925 in Bartlesville, OK.

She married Fred L. Holdaway on September 20, 1942 in Las Vegas, NV. Together they celebrated 52 years of marriage before his death on December 15, 1994.

Survivors include her three daughters, Janet Schuchman, Susan Beeson, and Cheryl Holdaway all of Wellington; daughter-in-law, Sue Holdaway of San Diego, CA; son-in-law, Ron "Turk" Erber of Wellington. As well as grandchildren, Tana (Josh) Hans, Rick Holdaway, Dana Pabst, Amy (Tommy) Norris, Jennifer (Shawn) Becker, Julie (Tim) Barclay, Sarah Erber, Adam (Alisa) Erber; and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Holdaway; son, David Holdaway; son-in-law, Jerry Schuchman; her parents; six sisters; and two brothers.

She was an incredibly giving woman who always put others first and deeply cared for her family. She was affectionately known as Mom, Grandma and Granny Pat - we will miss you.

Funeral Services will be held at Frank Funeral Home on January 27, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Doug Smith will officiate.

In honoring Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.

A memorial has been established with the Avenue of Flags. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
