Marcia Diane Snider, age 66, longtime Wellington resident, passed away Monday morning, November 17, 2014. She was retired as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. She also worked part time at El Chile Verde and was a crossing guard at Eisenhower School.

Marcia Diane Snider was born on May 7, 1948 in Wellington, KS to Duane R. Snider and W. Arlene (Kohler) Snider. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1966.

She was an avid bowler and active with the local and state bowling association.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her sister, Tess Biles and her husband Larry; nephew Kent Biles and niece Christy Yutzy all of Wellington, KS; three grandchildren; and four great nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Meadow Lanes Bowling Alley.

Memorials have been established with Bowlers Veterans Link and Marcia Snider Bowling Scholarship Fund. Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
