Obituary

Margaret Mae Frazier, age 97, lifelong resident of Wellington, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington. Margaret was a homemaker, railroader wife, and mother.

Margaret Mae (Antill) Frazier was born on April 3, 1919 in Wellington, KS to George Antill and Nellie Eliza (Wright) Antill. She was a 1937 graduate of Wellington High School.

She married Francis E. Frazier on December 24, 1939 at Hillside Christian Church in Wichita, KS. They had been married for 65 years when Francis passed away in April of 2005.

Margaret enjoyed sewing and making clothes for her family. She enjoyed crocheting, tatting, country western music, dancing, hunting, fishing, and photography. She had dark room equipment and competed in photography competitions. She also had a lifelong passion for accounting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis Frazier; one brother, Robert Thornton; three sisters, Blanche Thornton Downing, Catherine Antill Farris, Alma Antill Werner; and son-in-law, Leroy Rosebraugh.

Survivors include her three daughters, Karolyn Ritchey of Wellington , Gloria Rosebraugh of Augusta, KS, and Joyce Riecker and her husband Fred of Mulvane, KS, six grandchildren, David Carriker and his wife Jayne, Kimberly Johnson, Spencer Rosebraugh, Christina Rosebraugh, Brian Riecker, and Lisa Richter and her husband John; and six great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Roger Lee of Hillside Baptist Church will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M.

A Memorial has been established with Friendship Meals. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
