Obituary

Marjorie Faye Sullivan, age 83, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Wellington, KS. She retired after many years of service as an assistant to the city manager for the City of Wellington.

Marjorie Faye (Allen) Sullivan was born on March 7, 1930 to Eakle Payton Allen and Olive Faye (Thompson) Allen.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, singing, playing the piano and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Mary Faye Sullivan; brother, Eakle Payton Allen, Jr.; and sister, Virginia Mae Groom.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Sullivan and his wife Mary Frances of Oak Creek, CO and her daughter, Sharron Robertson and her husband Tim of Peabody, KS; her brother, Harold Allen of Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Highland Cemetery in Winfield, KS. Pastor Gary Terry will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with Pearly Gaits Ranch in Wellington, KS. Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
