Mary Merrick known as "Joan", passed away peacefully at North Kansas City Hospital on 09/29/2015 with her son Dr. Todd Hill and daughter-in-law, Viola Hill, by her side. Joan was born in Medford, Oklahoma on 10/07/1929. Joan was married to Wellington physician, Dr. J.C. Hill and a resident of Wellington for over 35 years. Following the death of her husband, Dr. Hill, she eventually remarried and moved to Texas, where she lived until 2007. She then moved to Kansas City, MO where she lived until her death. She is survived by her children Dr. Todd Hill and Jackie Bohn, a sister, Bernice Jennings, and her grandchildren: Jacinda Mein, Maddison Hill, and KeeleyShaye Hill. She will be truly missed by her family and those who knew and loved her. Per Joan's request, she asked for cremation and no grave-side services.
