Mary Ebaline Iddings, age 86, passed away at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS on Saturday, March 8, 2008 after a brief illness. She was currently a resident at the Slate Creek Deseret Nursing Home in Wellington, KS.

Mary Ebaline (Gardner) Iddings was born on February 24, 1922 in Winfield, KS to Joseph Gardner and Ethel (Hoover) Gardner. She was raised in Winfield and graduated from Winfield High School in 1940.

She married Robert S. Iddings on March 24, 1942 in Ardmore, OK, They farmed in the Perth area until Bobs' death on September 3, 1980. She stayed on the family farm until her health declined. Mary was an active member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Wellington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bob; two brothers, Roy and Carroll Hoover and one sister, Helen King.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Nancy G. Iddings; her granddaughter, Alexandra I. Tortora and grandson, Eric R. Tortora, all of Milford, CT.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at Frank Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Blue will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 3:00 P.M.
