Mary Louise (Reyes) Perez, age 83, of Wellington, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Monday morning, July 29, 2019 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS. She worked for St. Lukes Hospital and St. Francis Hospital as a CNA for many years.

Mary Perez was born on October 26, 1935 in Wellington, Kansas to Lorenzo Cornejo and Antonia (Macias) Cornejo.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, bingo, mexican music, western movies, dancing, and mexican food. She was a sports fan and loved to watch KU basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jeremy Reyes; four brothers, Marcelo, Albert, Lencho and Paul Cornejo.

Survivors include two sons, Antonio Reyes, Jr. and his wife Deane and Michael Reyes and his wife Kathryn all of Wellington, KS; four daughters, Eva McCool of Wellington, KS, Debra Anne Milham and her husband Timothy of Derby, KS, Anna Marie Hansen and her husband David Michael of Wichita, KS and Cassandra Townsend and her husband Richard of Wellington, KS; 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Rosary will be held at St. Anthony's/St. Rose Catholic Church on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 7:00 P.M.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony's/St. Rose Catholic Church. Father Maximilian Biltz will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
