Mary Jane Reedy, age 75, passed away at Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita, KS on April 22, 2010. She was a homemaker and a long time resident of Wellington.

Mary Jane (Simon) Reedy was born on August 20, 1934 in Sanford, CO to Orville S. Simon and Cashes Viola (Jackson) Simon.

Mary Jane married Everett A. Reedy on October 23, 1970 in Bartlesville, OK.

She is preceded in death by her parents; foster daughter, Carolyn and her husband, Larry Nichols; two grandchildren, Paula and Rebecca Nichols; two brothers, Charles Weston, Sr. and Glen Simon; and one sister, Patricia Joann Simon Seyler.

Survivors include her husband, Everett Reedy of Wellington, KS; sisters, Everly Ecton, Marcella Kelly, and Frances June Mason all of Wellington, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Janafer Weems will officiate.

A memorial has been established with the Nichols Family Fund. Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.

Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
