Matthew J. Kelly, age 40, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010. He was a farmer, rancher, and manager at Kelly Manufacturing Company.

Matthew J. Kelly was born on May 9, 1970 in Wichita, KS to Carl N. and JoAnn Kelly.

He loved the farm and ranch including cattle, all animals, his black truck, big boy toys, and spending time with family and friends.

Matthew is preceded in death by his brother, Jason Kelly; grandparents, Joe and Audrey Bloznik and Earl and Irene Kelly.

Survivors include his two children, Brett and Sydney Kelly of Peck, KS and their mother, Heather Kelly; parents, Carl and JoAnn Kelly of Peck, KS; brother, Justin Kelly and his wife Melissa of Andover, KS; two sisters, Holly Kelly of Peck, KS, Shannon Kelly and her husband Shawn Hanson of Peck, KS; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Hunter, Connor, Ella, and Joshua Matthew.

Funeral Services will be held at the Council Hill Christian Church on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. Pastor Doug Fraley will officiate. Interment will be held at 1:30 P.M. at Round Mound Cemetery near Cedar Vale, KS.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established in his name with the Council Hill Christian Church. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
