Meta Louise Crawford, age 90, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Golden Living Center in Wellington, KS. She was a retired Federal Employee with the Farmers Home Administration.
Meta Louise Crawford was born on January 11, 1917 in Wellington, KS to Curtis Botkin and Laura (Wiggins) Botkin. She was raised in Wellington.
Meta married Oliver G. Crawford on November 25, 1939 in Wellington, KS. He preceded her in death in 1963.
Meta lived many years in Little Rock, AR before moving back to Wellington in 1969.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant son, and three brothers, Claude, Howard, and Bill.
Survivors include her son, Patrick B. Crawford and his wife Paula of Wellington, KS; three grandchildren, Tristan, Zachary, and Dakota; and two great grandchildren, Neil and Althea.
There will be no services.
A memorial has been established in her name with the Wellington Public Library. Contributions can be mailed or left at the funeral home.
