Mildred F. Wilkerson, age 89, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and longtime Wellington resident, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 in Wellington, KS. Mildred was co-owner and cook of Granny's Kitchen for many years.

Mildred F. (Pierce) Wilkerson was born on August 2, 1929 in Salina, KS to Lyle Pierce and Thelma (Rouse) Pierce.

Mildred married Dale M. Wilkerson on August 5, 1963. He passed away on September 9, 1993.

She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren, hosting family gatherings, crocheting, and her bingo club.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale; one son, Robert Ketterman; two daughters, Pamela Newman and Theresa Kent; and two sisters.

Survivors include one son, Michael Ketterman and one daughter, Malinda Bigler both of Wellington, KS; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Frank Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Pastor James Newman will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 8:30 A.M. until service time.

Memorials have been established with Interim Hospice and the Wellington Food Bank. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
