Patricia M. Johnson, age 82, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and Wellington resident since 1952 passed away January 4, 2007 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington, KS. She was a retired school teacher.

Patricia M. (Bludworth) Johnson was born on May 13, 1924 in Pueblo, CO to Timothy Adrian Bludworth and Erna Marie (Weninger) Bludworth.

On September 7, 1945 Patricia married Carl Elmer "Swede" Johnson in McPherson, KS. He preceded her in death in February of 2003.

One of her greatest loves was music. Along with teaching piano and voice lessons, she also played the organ for three different churches on Sunday mornings. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers.

Survivors include her two children, James Johnson and his wife Patricia of Wellington, KS and Janice Olivas and her husband Oscar of Wellington, KS; six grandchildren, Anissa Raup, Shannon Collins, Jamie Cummins, Timothy Olivas, Alex Olivas, and Manual Olivas; five great grandchildren, Zack Collins, Adam Collins, Abigayle Cummins, Ashlynn Cummins and Andrew Cummins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, January 8, 2007. Father Andrew J. Seiler will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, January 7, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., with Rosary to be held at the funeral home at 7:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with the St. Anthony/St. Rose Altar Society and Hospice Care of Kansas.
