Peggy Jane Richmond, 61, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Via Christi St. Francis Hospice Unit in Wichita, KS.
Peggy was born March 21, 1950 in Colorado Springs, CO to Vernon Franklin Woods and Velma Flossie (Louder) Woods.
She married Gary S. Richmond on March 18, 1976 in Burlingame, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Gary Richmond, Sr. of Wellington, KS; one son, Gary Richmond, Jr. and his wife Karissa of Wellington, KS; two daughters, Shalayne Richmond of Coffeyville, KS and Kayla Richmond of Wellington, KS; two sisters, Sharon Kalivoda of Cuba, KS and Marilyn Sothers of Courtland, KS; and two grandchildren, Kasiah and Sawyer Richmond of Wellington, KS.
Visitation will be held at Frank Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 1:00-8:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS. Reverend Brent Clayton will officiate.
A memorial has been established with the Peggy Richmond Memorial Fund in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be mailed to or left at the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
