Ralph C. Schuneman, age 80, life long Sumner County resident, passed away March 14, 2007 at the Claremore Veterans Center in Claremore, OK. He was a retired farmer.

Ralph C. Schuneman was born on December 4, 1926 at Renfrow, OK to Joseph Schuneman and Grace (Lowe) Schuneman.

Ralph served in the United States Army during World War II.

He married Louise Sharp on February 26, 1948 in El Paso, TX. She preceded him in death on October 1, 1996.

He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Wellington.

Survivors include his son, Larry Schuneman of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Donna Collins of Pryor, OK and Kathy Ford of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Don Schuneman of Medford, OK; sister, Evelyne Quillin of Wellington, KS; 10 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at the Nazarene Church in Wellington, KS on March 17, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. Officiating will be Rev. Don Cross, Rev. Harold Bishop, and Rev. Randy Schuneman. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens in Wellington, KS.

Visitation will be held at the Nazarene Church, 702 W. 8th Street, Wellington, KS on Friday evening, March 16, 2007 from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends.
