Rena Lee Whisman, age 81, passed away early July 14, 2022 at her home in Wellington, KS where she has been a resident for the last three years. She was formerly from Tulare, CA.

Rena Lee (Langley) Whisman was born on November 14, 1940 in Lexington, OK to Hubert Miles Langley and Verda Lillian (Armstrong) Langley.

She married Jerry L. Whisman on August 2, 1993 in Lake Tahoe, CA.  Jerry and Rena spent 29 years together before her passing.

Rena was a born again Christian being saved at a very young age.  She was always striving to be obedient to His word and voice.  She is now with the Lord and her loved ones that have gone on before her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert Keith; one sister, Lois Rumfield; mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Viola Whisman; two sisters-in-law, Linda Cox and Susan Reynolds.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Whisman of Wellington; two sons, Robert Keith of San Jose, CA and Richard Keith and his wife Rhonda of Chouteau, OK; step-son, Jason Whisman; brother, Tom Langley and his wife Janis of Redding, CA; sister, Linda Thompson and her husband Donnie of Tulare, CA; sister, Judy Davis of Tulare, CA; granddaughters, Shelley Jump and her husband Keith of Belle Plaine, KS, Jessica of Oklahoma and Michele; grandsons, Robert Keith III of San Jose, CA, Nicholas Keith of Modesto, CA, and Dustin Keith of Oklahoma; and several great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral services will be held at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery in Winfield, KS on July 21, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.  Chaplain Don Cross of Rivercross Hospice will officiate.

A memorial has been established with the Wellington Public Library in lieu of flowers.  Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
