Robert Adell Busch, age 83, loving husband, father and grandfather and life long farmer and resident of Milan, KS, passed away at his home on Wednesday morning, October 25, 2006.
Robert A. Busch was born on March 20, 1923 at Milan, KS to Henry L. Busch and Victoria F. (Hembrow) Busch.
He married June M. Force on November 12, 1943 in Wichita, KS. They resided in the Milan, KS area where they farmed and raised their family.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; an infant son and daughter; a sister, Anita Busch; and one great grandson, Ian Colburn.
He was a member of the Mayfield Federated Church, the Wellington Elks Lodge, Argonia Masonic Lodge, 4-H Leader of the 20th Malaby Pushers, Chisholm Trailers Camper Club, Domino Leader of Friendship Meals in Mayfield, KS.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, June Busch of the home, one son Roy Busch and his wife Jenice of Wichita, KS; three daughters Nina Tush of Greeley, KS, Gaila Roberts of Milan, KS, Roberta Busch of Milan, KS; one brother William Busch and his wife Hazel of Milan, KS; one sister Betty Jo Weber of Milan, KS; 11 grandchildren Rebecca Colburn and her husband Brian, Johnna Schmidt and her husband John, Jessica Dockery and her husband Mark, Robert Johnson, Ivan Johnson and his wife Alia, Casey Busch, Garret Busch, Eric Jackson, Chad Jackson and his wife Jamie, Dustin Jackson and Marcus Jackson; 12 great grandchildren Shawn Tush, Alyssa Schmidt, Samantha Schmidt, Brandy Schmidt, Mathew Schmidt, Sara Dickinson, Olivia Dockery, Andrew Johnson, Zalissa Johnson, Chopper Johnson, Dagen Toney, and Ely Jackson.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at the Conway Springs United Methodist Church. Graveside Services will follow the service at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS at 2:00 P.M.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 27, 2006 from 1:00 – 9:00 P.M.
A memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas. Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.
