Robert F. "Bobby" Jenkins, Jr. age 69, of Wellington, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Via Christi St. Francis/Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita, KS. He was a farmer and stockman.

Robert F. "Bobby" Jenkins, Jr. was born on October 22, 1946 in Topeka, KS to Robert F. Jenkins, Sr. and Janice (Hay) Jenkins. His family moved to Las Cruses, NM where he was raised. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam.

Bobby married Lynn Moreland on June 15, 1973 in Belle Plaine, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Buddy Jenkins and Jamie Jenkins.

Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Lynn of Wellington, KS; one son, Robby Jenkins and his wife Elizabeth of Wichita, KS; one daughter, Amy Brown and her husband Charles of Haysville, KS; two sisters, Dana Baker of Eskridge, KS and Jana Hamilton of Belle Plaine, KS; and six grandchildren, Leyton, Hannah, Landon, Lily, Lainey and Alexander.

Memorial Services will be held at the First Christian Church on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. Pastor Don Bryant will officiate.

In honoring Bobby's wishes, cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M.

Memorials have been established with the First Christian Church and Fisher House Foundation in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
