Robert Aubrey Stewart, age 93, lifelong Wellington resident, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Wellington Health & Rehab. Robert was a retired farmer.

Robert was born on August 28, 1924 in Wellington, KS to Robert Lee Stewart and Lillie Bell (Saunders) Stewart. He was a graduate of Wellington High School with the Class of 1942. He served in the U. S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Hugh, Dan, and Harold Stewart; and two sisters, Mabel Webster and Mary Lee Craven.

Survivors include several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. Reverend Dr. Phyllis Provost-Saas of the First United Methodist Church will officiate.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial has been established with the Chisholm Trail Museum. Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.

Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
