Obituary
Ronald Dean Gardner, 65, of Wellington, KS, passed away August 17, 2011 at Sumner Regional Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was a former employee of Oxwell, Inc. in Wellington.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Darlene; parents, William B. and Euna Gardner; and brother, Gene Gardner.
Survivors include his wife, Virgie of the home, son, Michael Dean Gardner of Wichita; sisters, Mildred Clayborne (Joshua) of Wichita, Betty Hoppock (Jack) of Haysville; aunt, Virginia Gardner of Wichita; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
There will be no services.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
