Rosa D. Perez, age 92, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother passed away on Thursday evening, January 27, 2011 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington, KS. Rosie was a retired Nurse Aide having worked at Cedarview Nursing Home for 35 years.

Rosa D. (Delgado) Perez was born on September 4, 1918 in Penjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico to Dionicio N. Delgado and Jesus (Bravo) Delgado.

Rosie is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Jesse Lira and Domingo Perez, Sr.; two sisters; three brothers; one daughter, Ramona; two sons, Manuel and John; one infant son; five grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Domingo Jr., Albino, and Jesse; ten daughters, Josephine, Linda, Margaret, Carolyn, Angelina, Juanita, Patricia, Mary, Antonia, and Anita; one brother, Jo aquin; 70 grandchildren; 138 great grandchildren; and numerous great great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony's/St. Rose Catholic Church. Father Andrew Heiman will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens.

Rosary will be held at St. Anthony's/St. Rose Catholic Church on Monday evening, January 31, 2011 at 7:00 P.M.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 31, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. to
5:00 P.M.

Memorials have been established with Hospice Care of Kansas and the Alzheimer's Association. Memorials can be left at the funeral home.
