Rose Ann (Kern) Wilkerson, aged 96 and formerly of Wellington, Kansas passed away on Thursday, December 31st, 2020 in Rialto, California.  She loved all things chocolate, dominoes, card games and puzzles of all kinds; but as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and Aunt, she loved her family most of all.  She was the Caregiver, and selflessly offered assistance to any and all in need.  Born on a farm in 1924, she was no stranger to hard work, but never worked outside the home.  Being the oldest of 8 children, her caregiver role started early in life and continued with a multitude of home based babysitting jobs to supplement the family income.  She especially loved the smallest children in her care, the babies and toddlers.

Rose Ann was married to Hobart Wilkerson in 1947 until his passing in 1992.  She was also preceded in death by her Parents Carl and Fannie (McEachern) Kern, and 7 siblings Pauline Mason, Mary Jordan, Paul Kern, Charles Kern, Frank Kern, Karlan Kern and John Kern.

Rose Ann is survived by her daughters Linda O'Mara (Jon) and Mary Koch (James).  Grandchildren Scott Marvin, Karri Humphrey, Rachael Greif and Shannon Nutt.  Great Grandchildren Chance Virgin, Jeremiah Belledin. Gwendolyn Cookson, Levin Marvin, Ava Nutt, Max Greif and Kaylee Greif.  And an abundant number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS.  A small family gathering will be held afterwards in the Fellowship Room at the Church of Christ, 217 W. 13 ^th Street, Wellington, KS.
