Ruth Emma Elizabeth Hedge, age 93, passed away Tuesday morning, December 11, 2007 at Golden Living Center in Wellington, KS. She was a retired School Teacher and Coordinator of Service for the Shawnee Mission School District in Shawnee Mission, KS.
Ruth Emma Elizabeth (Crawford) Hedge was born on December 10, 1914 in Kansas City, KS to Russell Crawford and Ruth (Althoff) Crawford.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Homer W. Hedge, son, John Homer Hedge, and brother Nathan Crawford.
Survivors include her son, Russell Hedge of Arkansas City, KS; and four grandchildren, Jaden Hedge, Ian Hedge, Josi Hedge, and Jonathan Hedge.
Private family graveside services will be held in Kansas City, MO.
