Ruth Geraldine Stinson, age 96, of Wellington, KS, passed away Thursday morning, November 18, 2021 at the Botkin Care and Rehab Center. Ruth worked as a nurse aide at the Wellington Hospital with Dr. McGovern and Dr. Baker for many years.

Ruth Geraldine (Dusing) Stinson was born on January 4, 1925 in Wichita, KS to Cecil Dusing and Gertrude (Hamilton) Dusing. Ruth was raised in Oxford, KS and graduated from Oxford High School.

She married George E. Stinson on April 13, 1947.  He preceded her in death on May 25, 2006.

Ruth and George had a wonderful time traveling the United States by motorcycle. They were also able to travel Europe extensively. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George E. Stinson; and grandson, Sam Leis.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann Leis and her husband Jeff of Oxford, KS;

Graveside Services will be held at Sumner Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.  Pastor James Byers of the First Christian Church will officiate.

In honoring Ruth's wishes there will be no visitation.
