Obituary
Sandra Georgene McVey, age 81, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015. She was a retired telephone operator for St. Joseph Hospital.
Sandra Georgene (Sells) McVey was born on January 19, 1934 in Wichita, KS to George Nelson Sells and Vivian Lorene (Davis) Sells.
She enjoyed handicrafts, stage shows and music theatre.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sons, David A. McVey and Dale E. McVey both of Wichita, KS; two daughters, Jean A. Luzer and her husband Jeff of Haysville, KS and Judith E. McReynolds and her husband Keith of Wichita, KS; one sister, Vicki L. Shinliver of Wellington, KS; and five grandsons, Ty, Tod, Christopher, Jack and Ian; two great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at the Frank Funeral Home in Wellington, KS on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. Deacon Kitty Shield will officiate. There will be a private family interment.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Memorials have been established with the Alzheimer's Association and Futures Unlimited/Walt in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
