Dr. Santford "Stan" L. Burdick, age 80, passed away at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS on Tuesday evening, December 4, 2007. He was a retired chiropractor. Stan had been a resident of Goddard, KS for the past 30 years.

Santford Lee Burdick was born on May 6, 1927 in Oklahoma City, OK to Santford Samuel Burdick and Emma (Schafer) Burdick.

He married Carol Maye Geiger on June 3, 1962 in Wellington, KS.

Stan loved to dance with his wife Carol. They also loved to entertain in their home. He was an avid football fan and he also liked going fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Burdick of Goddard, KS; three daughters, Pamela Smith of Webb City, MO, Sherrill Weihe and her husband Mark of Atlanta, GA, and Shannon Lehning and her husband Mike of Haysville, KS; one sister, Carlene Vaughn and her husband Jack of Topeka, KS; eight grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Frank Funeral Home on Friday, December 7, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Sallie Shore will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 1:00 – 9:00 P.M.
