Shirley Ann Stoner, age 85, of Oxford, KS, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.  She was a retired Administrative Assistant at BAE Systems for many years.

Shirley was born on January 6, 1936 in Mayflower, AR to Chester Howell Shilling and Reba Louise (Hathaway) Shilling.

She married Lee Stoner on November 10, 1956.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee; great grandson, Carsen; and brother-in-law, Jack Blackshear.

Survivors include her daughter, Becky Easterly and her fiancé Phillip Yoder of Wellington, KS; one sister, Judith Marie Blackshear of Garland, TX; five grandchildren, Chelsea and her husband Jeff Tomlin of Wellsville, KS, Cassi Easterly of Oxford, KS, Chayse Easterly and his wife Coty of Wellington, KS, Candi Easterly of Wichita, KS, and Chloe Easterly and her fiancé Joel Brown of Oxford, KS; three great grandchildren, Kensley and Sailor Avina, and Hyde Easterly; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Memorial Services will be held at the Wellington Church of Christ on September 4, 2021 at 10:30 A.M.  Mr. Gary Bodine and David Hamlin will officiate.  Private Family burial will be held at a later date at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

Memorials have been established with the Wellington Humane Society and the Wellington Church of Christ in lieu of flowers.  Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
