Steven Ray Shaddix, 56, of Wellington, Kansas, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at his home.
He was born May 19, 1966, in Wellington, Kansas to Carl and Virginia Shaddix.
Steven loved golfing and spent much time on the greens in his younger years. He also enjoyed his cigars and a good game of poker. Most recently, Steven dearly loved spending time with his great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Shaddix and his sister, Diana Shaddix.
Steven is survived by his mother, Virginia of Wellington, Kansas; son, Conner Shaddix of Dallas, Texas; nephew, Garrett Shaddix (Jamie) of Wichita, Kansas; great-nephews, Oliver and Remington along with numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Graveside services will be Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Sumner Memorial Gardens in Wellington. Reverend Wendell Skinner will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Interim Hospice in Wellington in Steven's name. Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
