Steven Arthur Shelburn (Steve), 73, of Eureka KS, died peacefully at home on December 2, 2020.

Steve was born in Charleston, SC on June 3, 1947 at the U.S. Naval Hospital to Herbert Edward Shelburn and Margaret Alice Encell.  He graduated high school from Norte Vista High school, Riverside, CA in 1965. He attended Riverside Community College, class of 1968.

He was married in 1968 to Nancy Lee Scott and they had one son, Steven Charles Shelburn before divorcing in 1974. In 1977, he married Cheryl Ann Gillanand they had one daughter, Jessica Ann Shelburn before divorcing in 1981. He remarried a third time, but unlike the saying, it was not charmed and they had no children before divorcing.

Steve worked as an over-the-road truck driver traveling to all over the United States for 24 years with Triangle Trucking in Salina, Ks. In 1998, he was named Driver of the Year for Triangle, andhe finally retired in May 2017. He also worked as a cook at the Chuckwagon and held various other jobs over the years. He enjoyed watching old westerns with his dog Gidget. He was also a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents and older brother Herbert Jr. Survivors include his children, Steven Shelburn of Modesto, CA, Jessica Shelburn of Firth, NE, brother Charles Shelburn of Vacaville, CA, sisters Amanda Biering (husband Jonathan) of Rose Hill, KS and Kathryn Huffman (husband Donal) of Eureka, KS, grandchildren Nason Shelburn of CA and Andrew Shelburn, Firth, NE; and two great grandchildren, Aidlyn and Nason, Jr.

Graveside Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 22 ^nd , 2020.

A memorial has been established with Toronto Cowboy Church.
