Sue A. Reed, age 71, passed away early Monday morning, October 5, 2009 at Slate Creek Deseret Nursing Home in Wellington, KS. Sue was a homemaker and a resident of Wellington for most of her life.

Sue A. (Ward) Reed was born on May 17, 1938 in Wellington, KS to Alvin Ward and Anna M. (Spencer) Ward.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Shawn Jennings; and one brother, Carl Ward.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Glamann and his wife Laurie of Wichita, KS; one brother, Frank Ward of Sun City West, AZ; one sister, Pat Winslow of Newland, NC; and two grandchildren, Morgan Jennings and Dallas Glamann.

Memorial Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
