Susan Elaine Russell, age 59, of Wellington, passed away on January 14, 2016, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. She had been the Manager of the Lancome Cosmetics Department at Dillard's for 21 years before retiring.

Susan Elaine (Wulf) Russell was born on February 19, 1956 in El Paso, TX to Woodrow Wilson Wulf and Elizabeth Ann (Regnary) Wulf. She was a lifelong resident of the Wellington area and was a graduate of Wellington High School with the Class of 1974.

Susan married Dean B. Russell on September 10, 1977 in Mayfield, KS.

Susan bravely battled health issues for the last few years. She cared for others more than herself. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Dean Russell of Wellington, KS; two children, Aaron Russell and his wife Rachel of Wichita, KS and Adrienne O'Donnell and her husband Tim of Bel Aire, KS; one brother, David Wulf and his wife Cindy of Minneapolis, MN; five grandchildren, Braden O'Donnell, Taylor O'Donnell, Brody O'Donnell, Jaxon Russell, and Jace Russell.

There will be a private family memorial service on Friday.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. The Family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

A Memorial has been established with the Wellington Food Bank. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
