Theresa Sue Kent, age 60, loving daughter, mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS. Through the years, Theresa worked for G.E. at Strother Field for ten years, owned A Plus Answering Service for several years, and most recently worked at Riverview Manor Nursing Home in Oxford, KS.

Theresa Sue (Wilkerson) Kent was born on September 18, 1956 in Wellington, KS to Dale M. Wilkerson and Mildred (Pierce) Wilkerson.

Theresa married Thomas Gene Kent on April 26, 1974. He passed away in January of 2011.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, raising her dachshunds, cheering on the Denver Broncos and spending time with the residents at the nursing home. She most recently made her home with Norman Morris in Oxford, KS.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dale; her husband, Thomas; one brother, Robert and one sister, Pam.

Survivors include her mother, Mildred Wilkerson of Wellington, KS; son, Jason and his wife Chris of Shawnee, KS; daughter, Jennifer of Arkansas City, KS; brother, Michael Ketterman; and sister Malinda Bigler both of Wellington, KS; five grandchildren, Taylore Elizabeth Kent, Teressa Susanne Kent, Matthew Thomas Eli, Jackson Kent and Harper Kent; stepchildren, Shane, Natasha and Tyson; and numerous step-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Frank Funeral Home on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. Pastor James Newman will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. until service time.

A memorial has been established with the Wellington Senior Center. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
