Treva May Funderburk, age 87, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Saturday morning, August 18, 2012 at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover, KS.

Treva May (Whaley) Funderburk was born on September 20, 1924 in Perth, KS to Glenn L. Whaley and Yrea M. (Mann) Whaley.

She married Donald G. Funderburk on March 6, 1947 in Wellington, KS. They recently celebrated 65 years of marriage.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Funderburk of Wellington; two children, Scott Funderburk and his wife Ann of Wellington and Dona Bower of Perry, OK; six grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at the Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Damon Singleton will officiate. There will be a private family interment at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A memorial has been established with the Avenue of Flags. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
