Treva Charlene Purk, age 72, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at her home in Wellington. Treva was a homemaker and had been a resident of Wellington for the past 37 years.

Treva Charlene (Kilts) Purk was born on November 18, 1939 in Winfield, KS to Arthur Walter Kilts, Sr. and Juanita Ailene (Pierce) Kilts.

She married Earl B. Purk on January 18, 1959 in Wichita, KS.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Purk of Wellington, KS; two sons, Craig Purk and Eric Purk both of Sedgwick, KS; daughters, Donita Shaw of Burns, KS, Tamara Prewitt of Russell, KS, and Jackie Purk of Wellington, KS; brother, Juil Kilts of Wellington, KS; sister, Deanna Spillman of Farmersville, TX; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at the Belle Plaine Cemetery on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. Chaplain Dan Floyd will officiate.

A memorial has been established with the National Kidney Foundation in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
