Obituary
Victor Leroy Furman, age 60, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 18, 2012 at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, KS. He was a mechanic.
Victor L. Furman was born on October 19, 1951 in Stillwater, OK to Ory Gene Furman, Sr. and Dellma Rose (McCurry) Furman.
He enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Vic was preceded in death by his father, Ory Furman, Sr.; and two brothers, Charles Furman and an infant brother, Stevie Furman.
Survivors include his children, Crystal Smith, Victor Leroy Furman, Jr., and LaDonna Stringer; step-children, Travis Boyd and Amelia Boyd; mother, Dellma Snyder, two brothers, Ory Furman, Jr. and Ed Furman; sister, Diane Furman; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at the First Free Will Baptist Church on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Zane Brooks will officiate.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
