Obituary
Wayne G. Jones, age 79, of Mayfield, KS passed away Wednesday morning, October 1, 2008 at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Survivors are his wife, Opal D. Jones of Mayfield, KS; two sons, Greg Jones of Corbin, KS and Glen Jones of Wichita, KS; three daughters, Linda Parslow of Belle Plaine, KS, Jill Bracken of Garland, TX, and Julie Drake of Andover, KS; brothers, Noah H. Jones, Jr. of Midwest City, OK and Joe B. Jones of Salyer, CA; sister, Ernestine Tumbleson of Clarksville, AR; 16 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Mayfield Federated Church in Mayfield, KS on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. Interment will follow the service at Osborne Cemetery in Mayfield, KS.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Memorials have been established with Pioneer Bible Translators and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
